Printing Project Final Pieces

The 2 images below are of my final pieces for the 2 word printing project

Decay is one of the words I chose for the project and the graffiti is a representation of urban decay.
The main background that the graffiti is on is a linocut of a brick wall, then I drew the graffiti on them using pencil and then either painted and used oil pastels to make the graffiti.
I really like the outcome of these pieces and even though I like drawing graffiti and like the look of graffiti, I think it is a good representation of urban decay.

The other final piece is to represent architecture, the other word I chose to use for my print project. Despite the fact the most of the work in my sketchbook is mainly based on decaying architecture or architectual decay, I thought it would still be a good idea to do 2 final pieces for this project to represent the 2 chosen words.
The above picture is a collection of etches, in 3 different colours, of a prison in Cuba called Presidio Modelo. The main reason I looked at this prison was because of an interesting engineering method called Panopticon, which is a way of constructing a building, mainly prisons and other institutions, so that all the cells or rooms in the building can be seen from one point in the building, making it easier for a guard to check-up on the people in the cells/rooms.
